Ravel Main Interface

When you first create a new project in Ravel, you will see the following screen:

Ravel’s interface can largely be divided into the following:

• The project toolbar at the top
• The preview in the middle (which can be used to add scenes in some cases)
• The scene flow below the preview
• The editing toolbar located right below the scene flow

Project Toolbar

The toolbar at the top contains three buttons:

• The Close button on the left is for closing any screen you’re currently seeing, such as the media picker, the full screen preview, the scene overview, or the project itself.
• The Add **Music** button lets you add background music to your project which will play throughout the entirety of your project. At this time, you can't use your own audio files or add background music only to specific parts of your project.
• The **Upload** button on the right uploads your project to the Ravel web player.

Preview

The preview area is located at the center of the screen, and is designed for vertical videos.

When first creating a new project, a ➕ icon will be displayed here. Tap it to add your first scene.

If you already have some content in your project, this is where you can preview your project.
